Mission Statement:

E.C.O. is a high school club committed to environmental conservation, responsible e-waste recycling, and outreach to underserved communities. Our mission is to collect and recycle electronic waste, promote sustainability, and utilize the proceeds to provide internet services and other support to underserved groups, ensuring equal access to digital opportunities and a cleaner environment.

Club Objectives:

• E-Waste Collection: Organize electronic waste collection drives within the school and local community to divert e-waste from landfills.

• Responsible Recycling: Ensure the responsible disposal and recycling of collected electronic waste through partnerships with certified e-waste recycling facilities.

• Sustainability Education: Educate members and the community about the importance of recycling, sustainability, and reducing electronic waste.

• Digital Inclusion: Use the proceeds from recycling efforts to provide internet services, devices, or digital literacy resources to underserved groups, bridging the digital divide.

• Community Outreach: Collaborate with local organizations and shelters to identify and address the specific needs of underserved individuals or families.

• Fundraising Initiatives: Organize fundraising events and initiatives to support both recycling efforts and the club's mission of aiding underserved communities.

• Environmental Awareness: Promote environmental awareness and sustainability practices through workshops, seminars, and eco-friendly initiatives.

• Advocacy: Advocate for responsible e-waste disposal practices and environmentally friendly policies within the school and community.

• Device Donation Drives: Encourage the donation of used electronic devices such as cellphones, laptops, and tablets, which can be repurposed for underserved individuals or sold to generate funds for internet services.

• Empowerment: Empower club members with leadership opportunities, allowing them to take on responsibilities within the club and community outreach projects.

• Measurable Impact: Track and communicate the measurable impact of the club's efforts in terms of e-waste diversion, digital inclusion, and support provided to underserved groups.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with local businesses and government agencies to expand the reach and impact of the club's initiatives.
